Google has announced a new variant of the Nexus S, called the Google Nexus S 4G. The new Nexus S shares a lot in common with the original Nexus S. The major difference being that the GSM/EDGE/WCDMA/HSDPA Radio is now replaced with a CDMA/EVDO Rev.A radio. It also adds a mobile WiMax radio offering super fast 4G experience. It will be carried by Sprint in the US.
Google Nexus S 4G has almost the same features as the original. It will run Google Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) on a 1GHz processor with 512MB RAM. Google Nexus S 4G has a 4.0-inch Super-AMOLED display, 5MP camera, NFC, and 16GB Storage. Google Nexus S 4G will be slightly bigger and heavier than the HSDPA variant. It will be available in Spring, 2011 on the Sprint US network.
